disharging iPhone during heavy use (gps navigation, looking for
campgrounds on the web, taking pictures etc.). The obvious solution
was to by a charger that connects to the car's cigar lighter. We
bought one in NY but it turned out that the cigar lighter itself
didn't work... Help came from the omniscient service manual that we
prudently acquired on eby before leaving. After some electrical
trouble shooting we fixed it along with the glove compartement light
and the radio (only the tape player had worked).
It took a couple of days though because we had more serious mechanical
problems in NY - about which I promised to post - but because we
didn't have electricity there are no iPhone photos. We'll post as soon
as we find a computer to pull photos from Mariusz's didgicam.
Meanwhile we covered some ground today and approach Rochester, NY.

I'm listening to The Kinks and happy that your radio is working.
ReplyDeleteI am listening to Carlotta listening to the Kinks. The office is too quiet in your absence. And Charlie's gone as well. Did you stop at DIA Beacon? If you're on your way to Rochester, well, then, you've passed it.
