Sun after all (and other elements)

Just after we finished writing about the bad weather in California,
the sky cleared up around Monterrey, the fog disappeared and we were
rewarded with beatiful views of the cliffs in Big Sur and a clear star
splanged sky as we laid down to sleep without a tent. We also tried to
relax on the beach, but as gorgeous as it was, it was harsh: wind and sand
blowing in our mouths, eara and eyea, waves to big and the water
colder than the mountain lakes in the Rockys (we still swam). You can
not rest in America, there is always some extreme force challenging you.
