Salmon River Scenic Byway

To get from the Craters of the Moon in Idaho to the Glacier National
Park in Montana one has to take the I-93. The 150 miles drive between
Arco and Salmon in Idaho is called the .Salmon River Scenic Byway. It
follows the river as the name says, but the Salmon River is not
another Yellowstone-like river with bears and hobbyist fishing,
surrounded by forest. Its a creek that cuts its way through a
mountaineous deserted landscape that leaves you wondering if you've
reached Afghanistan already.
